One day, I decided to vacuum the floor, so I removed a standard-sized outlet safety plug.
Somehow, my two-year-old daughter got the plug, put it into her mouth & began choking.
I was able to get it out in time, but the harrowing experience stuck with me.
I then began questioning the size and shape of these so-called 'safety' plugs.
"Why are they so small? I bought these plugs to protect my daughter from electrical outlets yet they themselves are extremely dangerous choking hazard?"
I tried to convince a few of the plug manufacturers to change their design and make them safe, but my pleas were brushed aside and totally ignored.
I realized the only way to make them safer was to do it himself. After months of brainstorming, it finally occurred to me to shape them like the pacifiers' shield.
VENTILATION HOLES & WIDER SHIELD was suddenly the obvious answer.
So I spent over a year developing the safest outlet safety plug on the market.
